Welcome To Department of Commerce
The department of commerce in this college was started in 2013, the year in which the college was established. The government of Kerala sanctioned the Administrative Sanction and NOC for conducting the UG and PG courses in Commerce in the same year and the Mahatma Gandhi university gave affiliation to degree courses and postgraduate courses in the same year.
In the year 2013-14 undergraduate course in commerce (B.Com) was started with specialization in Computer application with a sanctioned strength of 40 seats. The post graduate programme in commerce (M.Com) was started in the same academic year 2013-14 with a sanctioned strength of 20 seats. A gradual upgradation happened and at present B.Com Computer Application has 60 seats and M.Com has 26 seats. The B. Com Finance and Taxation programme in commerce was started in the academic year 2020-21 with a sanctioned strength of 40 seats.
