HEALTH CLUB

A health club is introduced at Sanjo College for the purpose of activities connected to students’ health in view of physical exercise and other mental activities. Health club becomes a reference of health services, rising the adherence to physical activities, awareness programmes, and exhibitions. Good health is defined as “Complete Coordination of Body, Mind and Soul.” Hence, our health club ensures physically fit body and a mentally balanced personality of our students and general public. The vision of our health club is to create a healthy sustainable society and the mission is to create awareness about healthy habits in society.

In short, Sanjo Health Club is an association of students for taking care of everything that goes in to prescribing ways and activities for students to possess good overall health - Mental, Physical, Emotional and Social.

  • To create awareness about the health issues, status, habits among the staff and students on the campus.
  • To modify students’ behaviour towards the attainment of optimum health
  • To provide physical fitness.
  • To ensure healthy and hygiene college campus environment.
  • To encourage environment protection and waste reduction.
  • To promote the students for 3R (reuse, recycle, regenerate).
  • To conduct various workshops on Adolescent Education Programmes and dealing with their emotional problems.

  • Health and Hygiene activities and awareness classes
  • Awareness drives in which students are sensitized towards cleanliness.
  • Health promotion and health education.
  • Imparting information about various diseases prevailing in a particular duration of year and various preventive steps.
  • Engaging students for about 30 minutes at least in any physical activity of choice from plethora of options like football, basketball, volleyball, kabaddi, badminton, athletics, etc.
